A DC (Direct Current) charger is a device used to supply electric vehicles (EVs) with direct current electricity to charge their batteries.
There are different types of DC chargers, such as CHAdeMO and CCS (Combined Charging System 2), each with its own specifications and compatibility with different electric vehicle models.
FLEXXFAST by EDS focusing to provide CCS2 charger because CCS2 is a fast-charging standard developed primarily by European and North American automakers. CCS2 chargers come in various power levels, ranging from 50 kW to 350 kW or more. This flexibility allows for faster charging when compared to other chargers. CCS2 has broader support from a wide range of automakers, including European and American manufacturers. It is increasingly seen as the global standard for fast charging, promoting interoperability among different EVs.
CCS2 has gained broader global acceptance and is considered the standard of choice for many automakers due to its compatibility with AC and DC charging in a single connector.

It depends on the battery capacity of your electric vehicle (EV). Batteries will determine how much energy can be stored and how long it will take to charge. The battery capacity differs for each EVs. Now, EV batteries capacity ranging around 40 – 100 kW.
Every charger has a maximum of power that can be transferred from the installation to the vehicle. FLEXXFAST DC chargers can charge between 60 kW and 150 kW. To determine the charging duration for your battery, simply divide the battery capacity by the charging rate or power. For example, your batteries capacity is 60 kW, and you want to charge up your battery from 30% to 80%, approximately to charge up 50% for your batteries (for 30 kw), it takes around 30 mins.

Yes, it is safe to use a DC charger for your EV.
